GivingTuesday, the worldwide celebration of giving back, is on Nov. 28. This year, AV��Ʒ is joining forces with the AV��Ʒ Student Society and RBC Dominion Securities (Andrea White) to ensure that every student can find support when they need it by raising funds for the Erasing Barriers to Education fund.

The AV��Ʒ Student Society and RBC Dominion Securities (Andrea White) are making a remarkable gesture, matching every dollar donated between Nov. 20 and midnight on Nov. 28, up to $20,000. This commitment doubles the scope of individual contributions, allowing each gift to create an even greater positive impact.

“We understand the urgency of supporting our students now more than ever,” says Lane Trotter, President of AV��Ʒ. “The fund acts as a lifeline for our students, bridging financial gaps and overcoming challenges that could otherwise hinder their success. With the incredible backing of the AV��Ʒ Student Society, each donation from the community will have double the impact.”

The Erasing Barriers to Education fund breaks down hurdles that block students’ success. From food scarcity to the shadows of domestic violence, it tackles major challenges that disrupt students’ journeys.
