Things weren鈥檛 easy for him at the beginning. 鈥淚 struggled with time management and I didn鈥檛 have confidence in my math skills,鈥 says Jason. 鈥淏ut I asked a lot of questions in class and to my classmates. I spent a lot of time on my own problem solving and trying my best to understand the concepts.鈥
But in the end, it was a very rewarding journey. 鈥The best thing about my experience would be spending time in the shop doing hands-on projects with many other like-minded apprentices,鈥 says Jason. 鈥淭he program definitely built confidence within myself, which in turn changed the way I look at problem solving within the carpentry field.鈥澨
