Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) - volunteers needed!
Gaining practical tax experience and helping fellow students. Volunteer with the CVITP that will be occurring at Camosun in April 2025.听 A volunteer with the CVITP prepares income tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals who have a modest income and simple tax situation.

KPMG GVA Spring 2025 Talent Pool

Our expert panelists will share best practices for different stages of the interview process, the qualitative and quantitative skills hiring managers are looking for, and much more.听 Join us virtually, as you do not want to miss this event.

In one hour, learn about Public Practice Recruit for current post-secondary students.听 If you're interested in pursuing employment opportunities with public practice firms in BC, attend this session to learn how students are recruited in the spring of 2025, for full-time, summer, and co-op positions starting in 2026.

Learn how to transfer your international education and accounting/finance work experience to obtain the CPA designation.听 Get to know the admission requirements of the CPA program, BC's economic outlook, and available employment resources.听 We'll also hear from special guest , a Canadian charity that offers low-interest microloans for skilled newcomers who need financial support to pay for the cost of licensing and credentials.

- CPAEF bursaries and scholarships
Every year CPAEF offers a bursary program to BC students based on financial need with two deadlines to apply each year: May 15 and November 15. Scholarships are also available to students attending one of eleven BC post-secondary institutions that do not have named awards: applications are due May 1.
